Bitcoin, Stateless Money Calls for Evolution beyond the Nation-State
Bitcoin is invented as a tool that could help humanity to transcend the boundaries of the old nation-state and evolve into greater beings.

Bitcoin, since the publication of its white paper in 2008, has now gone mainstream. 2024 was the year that Bitcoin gained significant traction among institutions.
As a part of this accelerated mainstream adoption, now the nation-state is entering into the space. The U.S. has established the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve and positioned itself ahead of the game.
Some might not like banks and corporations that once ridiculed Bitcoin buying up a large amount of bitcoin, but there is nothing that we can do to stop it. Bitcoin is for everyone. Yet, at the same time, it’s important for us to not just get caught up with Bitcoin’s growing popularity and lose sight of what makes it revolutionary in the first place.
Bitcoin is a decentralized currency that is not controlled by any one person or groups of people. The invention of Bitcoin is unprecedented. It made the separation of money and state possible for the first time in human history. Bitcoin is the world’s first stateless currency. What is the significance of this?
Now, individuals, regardless of their nationality, culture or language they speak, from anywhere in the world, with simple access to the internet can adopt Bitcoin and claim their own sovereignty.
The prospect of Bitcoin becoming a new monetary network for the global economy brings a possibility for people around the world to transcend the boundaries of nation-states and come together to form a new union based on shared values that Bitcoin represents.
Dollarization of economy
As Bitcoin opens up a new horizon for a future society, what does this rise of nation-state adoption mean? Some see how it would bring influences that could potentially undermine Bitcoin’s success in fulfilling its promise.
Journalist Mark Goodwin has recognized the alarming development in the emergence of the US dollar digital payment system. In his book titled “The Bitcoin-Dollar: An Economic Monomyth”, he argues how the dollar system is exploiting Bitcoin to expand its dominance, specifically with the use of stablecoins.1
Tether, a blockchain enabled platform, facilitates the use of fiat currencies in a digital form. Tether tokens were the first, and now have become the most widely used stablecoins. The company has been playing a major role in evolving the digital economy.
Adam Curry, famous podcaster succinctly describes a process of dollarization that is now taking place.
We could see that there are some risks associated with this trend that could jeopardize Bitcoin’s potential to disrupt the legacy financial system. The development of the digital US dollar payment system could hijack the original intention behind the creation of Bitcoin.
Technology of cooperation
The invention of Bitcoin restores the function of money, rooted in the evolutionary impulse. Evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins described it as “a formal token of delayed reciprocal altruism”. Money was created as a tool that allows human beings to solve conflicts rather than resorting to the use of violence.
Being acknowledged as a “technology of cooperation”,2 it gave us an evolutionary advantage that allowed our species to depart from the rules of jungles and move toward a process of civilization.
As we have seen historically, modern money as it became centralized, got disconnected from this origin of money and its impulse for evolution. The fiat system run by the central banks operates through a mechanism of control.
With petrodollar hegemony creating a consumption driven war economy, money has become an instrument to carry the force of violence. From sanctions to IMF debt traps extracting valuable resources from small countries, the stronger nations use finance as a weapon to dominate the weaker states.3 4
Now, Bitcoin has brought the alternative to this monetary system backed by “men with guns”.5 Through the method of decentralization, Bitcoin removes levers of control and replaces it with the rules of consensus.
Bitcoin, with its second layer innovations such as the Lightning Network, can enable frictionless cross border transactions. By aligning everyone’s self interests and rewarding honesty, this internet of money allows us to large-scale reciprocal altruism. We, as humanity now have a tool to end the cycle of war and create peace in the world.
As this opportunity opens up, the old debt monetary system appears to be morphing into a new digital dollar network to maintain its control.

Now, Tether with their stablecoin (USDT) is coming to Lightning. Although we don’t fully yet know the ramifications of USDT on Lightning, this development seems to be guided by a particular vision of the future that concerns where we are going as human species.
Future of human evolution
Tether, the company that helped to expand the digital dollar system with their stablecoin is now spearheading “(Re)Evolution of human intelligence”. With their investment in BlackRock Neurotech, the CEO of Tether, Paolo Ardoino aims to pioneer the path of evolving human intelligence with brain-computer interfaces.
Here, let’s zoom out to get a bigger perspective.
Gregg Braden, internationally renowned author, and scientist, analyzes what is happening behind the current world events. He talks about how parallel societies are now being formed that are seemingly moving into different paths of evolution.
One follows a natural path of development. The other is the technologically focused evolutionary path, which is driven by the agendas of transhumanism; a philosophy to replace our biology with technologies to transcend human biology and limitations.
Braden asserts:
“There's a battle playing out for our very humanness. It sets the context for every event that is unfolding in our world. There's something deep within each of us, so powerful, so precious, that nations will go to war with other nations to keep us distracted. There is a movement to replace our bodies with synthetics, chemicals in the blood, sensors under the skin, computer chips in the brain, artificial intelligence.”
In the next five years, he explains how laws and policies are being made for us to bring external technologies into our bodies in exchange for the efficiency and speed of technology.
In this process, he informs us that if we are not careful, we might lose our innate potential and our connection to the divine which allows us to transcend perceived human limitations organically.
A new science is showing the extraordinary abilities latent within us, waiting to be activated. A New York Times best-selling author, international lecturer and researcher Dr. Joe Dispenza and his team of scientists have obtained scientific data that indicate the effect of meditations on influencing our biology.

By simply doing meditations, without requiring to rely on anything external like change of diets, use of drugs and surgery, people around the world are overcoming diseases that are thought of incurable.
We all have innate power to heal ourselves and have an ability to do what new technologies are promised to do, naturally and better than them.6 Now, before we discover and fully claim what it is to be human, technologies are being pushed to intervene in the natural process of evolution, which could hamper our potential.
Network upgrade
Many people in a Bitcoin space seem to be unaware of divergent incentives that are coming into the Bitcoin ecosystem. They are busy celebrating bitcoin’s all time high. Maximalists say ‘never sell never’, and encourage Hodling. At the same time, Bitcoin as a digital gold narrative gets amplified, and people view it as more of a store of value rather than a medium of exchange.
To be clear, I am not against Hodling. The practice of Hodling has a purpose and plays an important role in the development of Bitcoin. It increases the purchasing power and promotes saving. Yet, I say, this Hodl ethos has now reached a point, where Bitcoiners stop transacting, which could hinder Bitcoin attaining its full function as currency, and becoming accessible for everyday use.
Therefore, this practice of Hodling needs a network upgrade, and those who believe in this technology’s revolutionary potential now need to act differently.
The ordinary people of a small nation are taking the lead. In El Salvador, the country that adopted Bitcoin as a legal tender in 2021, the circular economy is slowly but steadily developing. In a town named Berlin, with a population of about 20,000 people, Salvadorians began using bitcoin to transact freely and generate economic activities.
Along with grassroots adoption, we can spend Bitcoin to invest into strengthening our own communities. Hal Finney, the late computer scientist and cypherpunk who contributed to Bitcoin gave a piece of advice when the price of 1 bitcoin was still less than $1:
“Since we’re all rich with bitcoins, or we will be once they’re worth a million dollars like everyone expects, we ought to put some of this unearned wealth to good use”.
He might have been anticipating this moment of time in history, where humanity faces a fork in the road and needs to make a critical decision in their evolution.
Do we take a path to technology; give up the gift of humanness and move into a more mechanistic society? Or do we return to the path that nature has set forth for us, and cooperate with the force of evolution that is unfolding through us organically?
If the digital dollar payment network continues to gain dominance and establishes monopoly, this choice would become not available to us.
Now, the protocol of Bitcoin calls for its users to step up to act in alignment with its noble design.
Bitcoiners as feature
We, Bitcoiners, are a vital feature of this technology. We are called lunatic fringes, geeks and misfits by the system. We are rebels pushing the boundaries of our reality, pioneers and visionaries. We are here not only to facilitate the development of Bitcoin, but also the evolution of our species.
“Imagine there’s no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, tooImagine all the people
Living life in peaceYou, may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one” – John Lennon, Imagine
Now, the time has come for sovereign individuals around the world to unite as one species of humanity. By using Bitcoin as a tool for cooperation, each of us, from where we are, can start to transcend the limitations of the old fiat system to build a new world.
As the elite few dictate the values of society for the majority, it is important for us, ordinary people, to define our own values and move our society toward a vision of our own future.
While billionaires and big industries are buying up lands to control food supplies, Bitcoin early adopters who have become millionaires can buy lands and support small local farmers who grow food sustainably. New medical systems can be built as an alternative to Big Pharma, one that recognizes our natural immunity and works with our body’s innate intelligence to heal itself.
We can invest in the education of our youth, help children develop creativity and imagination, as well as intellect and technical skills. We can make sure that our future generation will not just be prepared for a job market and financial success, but will become a whole person, being physically, mentally and emotionally equipped to meet the challenges of the world.
Activating heart intelligence
The evolutionary impulse coded in Bitcoin is in our DNA. Nature unravels her plan through us. One by one, Bitcoin brings us to its rabbit hole for us to begin an inner journey of transformation.
Our highly technologically advanced society has fixated our attention externally and made us be preoccupied with things outside of us. In this extroversion, we have left the inner world behind.
Our consciousness is an uncharted territory that we have not yet to begin to fully explore. Consciousness is the source of all reality, where the power within our existence resides. Even the CIA understands this! Their declassified document shows their knowledge about the power of consciousness to manifest reality in time-space.7
Heart opens the door to a higher level of consciousness. Braden in his latest book “Pure Human: The Hidden Truth of Our Divinity, Power and Destiny” explains it:
“The biology of the human heart functions as a direct conduit -a spiritual hotline – to a field of information, knowledge, and abilities that is not limited by, or bound to, the laws of physics as we understand them today.” (2025, p. 17)
Awakening the center of our heart is true (Re)Evolution of human intelligence. It helps us activate dormant aspects of our DNA, and develop capacity for compassion, to love and forgive.
By unplugging from social media, and withdrawing from news and political events, we can go inside to connect with ourselves deeply to participate in the evolution led by the heart.8

From breath work, and sound therapy to meditation retreats and spending time in nature, we can invest our time and energy into developing our full potential and become unlimited.
Only through claiming our own humanness, can we build a system that truly honors who we are as human beings and integrate technology in a manner that could serve us.
For so long, the force for evolution has stagnated. The invention of Bitcoin has now cleared the path for evolution. We no longer need to ask for permission. Those of us who choose to, can now evolve.
By each person synchronizing actions with the heart of Bitcoin that beats every 10 minutes, a network of mutual aid is created. The super-computers around the world powered by our heart begin to work toward securing the precious heritage of humanity.
Block by block, each of us claiming our true innate capacity, breaks the chain that binds us to the past and builds a new future. We carry forward the impulse of evolution, to become a species capable of love.

Mark Goodwin sees how this covert dollarization will lead to a consolidation of the world economy onto the rail that was built by the agents and players that are heavily connected to the intelligence community.
Nick Szabo, a legal scholar and cryptographer with his creation of bit gold inspired the creation of Bitcoin. In the paper Shelling Out, the Origins of Money, published in 2002, Szabo traveled into the ancient past to trace precursors of money used by our ancestors.
Describing it as a “technology of cooperation”, Szabo noted how early forms of money such as shells of clams solved the problem of the risk of cheating in the exchange of favor, where reciprocity won’t be made simultaneously.
This astute scholar of money learned how these primitive forms of money played a role in tracking favors and as an enforcer of reciprocation. Among other functions such as inheritance and insurance against starvation, it gave humans a mechanism to deal with conditions in a much more civil way, at a time when hostility and distrust among tribes were strong.
He noted how wealth transfer was used to carry obligation and rights, and enforce contracts such as for purchasing mates and for entering another band’s territory to hunt and gather goods, as well as a way to dispute resolution and mitigate wars and cycles of revenge.
“Confessions of an Economic Hitman”, written by John Perkins documents a process that the U.S. government, banks and corporations engage in economic colonization of Third World countries.
Alex Gladstein’s book “Check Your Financial Privilege: Inside the Global Bitcoin Revolution” shows how Bitcoin with its feature of censorship-resistance can provide a tool for people who are oppressed to claim financial freedom.
Nobel prize-winning economist Paul Krugman once made a comment that U.S. fiat currency is “backed by men with guns”.
In this interview, “We Are the Last Generation of PURE HUMANS: The Truth About AI & humanity’s FUTURE”, Gregg Braden explains how human brains are 100 fold more efficient than computer chips. He notes the human brain is so sophisticated that it can overcome what we believe to be our limit and morph and adapt to create a new vista.
Declassified CIA documents relating to the Gateway Process, originally developed as a user manual by the U.S. Army’s intelligence unit, described techniques to use our thoughts to affect our physical reality. On page 22 of the CIA’s Gateway Analysis, the technique described as “Patterning” explains how to manifest the desired objective with intention.
We are greater than we think, more powerful than we know, more unlimited than we can ever dream”, says Dr. Joe Dispenza.
Through weeklong retreats and workshops, he engages people around the world in the frontline of evolution, to push boundaries and learn to become supernatural.
